I think that answers your question right there.

Having access to doctors in Boston who are familiar with you & your wife's situations would be far preferable, as you will likely end up being transferred to DHMC in Lebanon for anything non-routine if you're in Concord. We've become resigned to traveling to Boston (MA General, mostly) due to the quality of care issues we've experienced here in NH and are hopeful that the CMC/Partner's Health Care (MA General) may allow us to travel to Boston less frequently - especially if diagnostics can occur here and just travel to Boston for the actual doctor appointments...

I did find out that the Concord health insurance will cover my doctor's in Boston so that makes me happier, and will be moving to the Concord area in several months.

Thank you everyone.

That's excellent - congratulations! It's a beautiful area of the state, and our budget will go further in the Concord area than in the Manchester area. Just keep an eye on taxes - a few of the Concord-area suburbs have higher than average property tax rate...

Thank you. I noticed that a few of the towns surrounding Concord (and Concord itself) has higher property taxes than some other areas which is a pity because we like some of those towns.

It is known that Dartmouth Hitchcock is the best hospital in NH (up there with MGH). It is an hour north of concord, and if your in Manchester MGH/B&W isn’t that far (heck Boston isn’t that far from Manch or concord.

Ahhh you must be considering Bow, Pembroke and/or Hopkinton

Have you considered Hooksett? It could work, and provide easy access to 93 for easy north and southbound destinations...

Personally, I love some of neighborhoods in Concord

Bow, Hopkinton, Henniker, and Concord. I think that Hooksett sends their high school students to Manchester so that is something to consider. Hooksett is a great location as you said.

Yup, those are some $$$ tax towns, for sure...

Hooksett is unique in that there are multiple choices for HS students and their parents to consider: Bow High School, Goffstown High School, Londonderry High School, all 3 Manchester High Schools (Central, Memorial and West), Pembroke Academy and Pinkerton Academy in Derry. There is a very specific process that must be followed, which starts early in 8th grade. There is also a very good chance (not well known just yet) that Hooksett will be building their own HS in the next decade...
