I've lived in NH for almost 8 years (Mass transplant lol) and I love Fall up here. I am looking for some locations to take pictures of my daughter and dogs. We usually go to Franconia for that but what are your favorite locations to go leaf peeping and are easily accessible? I am going to the Kanc this weekend - which I also love.
Your suggestions can really be anywhere in the state. I don't mind driving!
Scenic seacoast areas with fall color - Adams Point Wildlife Management Area in Newmarket, Wagon Hill Farm in Durham, Wentworth-Coolidge Mansion and adjacent Creek Farm in Newington; just across the border - Cider Hill Farm in Amesbury (MA), Maudslay State Park in Newburyport (MA).

There is a beautiful birch tree at Winslow State Park. And in the off season, Sunapee allows you to walk up and down the ski trails - super pretty! (there was a wedding at the top of Sunapee last time I went!)
A few miles south of the eastern side of the Kang is Chocorua Lake/Mt. Chocorua in Tamworth. Amazing vistas. Probably one of the most painted and photographed spots in NH.
SW NH is loaded with classic villages - check out Hancock, Harrisville, Marlow, especially across the pond, Washington and many others. Several great parks, too. Don't plan to hike Mt. Monadnock this weekend, though. Parking will be a challenge.
Also, the Welch-Dickey Loop trail in Waterville Valley is good for views, but first half is easier than the second half (lots of granite rock climbing.
Up north, it's a little past peak, but not by much. I was around Rumney/Stinson Lake yesterday and it's peaking now. Here in Center Harbor, it's very near peak, this coming week it will be fully a-flame.
