Hello.. I'm not even planning this trip until this coming Spring, (late April to mid May) and hopefully this Covid thing would have calmed down a bit. Anyways I am wanting to know about the hotel options and attractions of the area, is the Castle In The Sky feasible from Derry? Salem Witch Museum? Story Land? What is New Hampshire's culinary known for? Like here in Va its ham.
Also any good fishing spots and can I get an out of state license online?
As far as hotels near Derry my only input is to avoid the TownePlace Suites in nearby Manchester. Even though it is one of Marriott's mid/lower tier brands, based on my experience last year, it is definitely not up to the typical Marriott standard.

Thanks for the help New Hampshire.
All of those sights are within about 2 hour drive of Derry. Note that Salem witch museum is in Salem Massachusetts, not Salem NH. Besides that, it’s a big tourist trap. And did you mean Castle in the Clouds? Nice place for lunch with a great view. If you go to Storyland you might go a bit further and head to the top of Mt Washington, highest point in US East of the Mississippi. Closer to Derry, Portsmouth NH and Newburyport MA are beautiful historic seaside towns.
New Hampshire doesn’t have a specific cuisine, but fresh seafood like Maine lobster is abundant.
