GSM service in Upper Valley, other than Unicel (Hanover: work, town) - New Hampshire (NH) - City-Data Forum

Hi,

We are looking for an alternative to Unicel, which is being eliminated by Verizon. What other GSM providers are available in Hanover/Etna (03755/03750)? T-mobile does not seem to be available. Not sure about AT&T: looks like it may be available in Hanover, but not in Etna. Any other, smaller providers? What's your experience?

Etna! I'm familiar with that town. Won't Verizon (taking over Unicel) work for you? Are they not GSM? (Sorry... not too well versed in cell technology.)

AT&T took over Unicel in Vermont (not sure about NH). You may want to check with them. Good luck!

Verizon will work were Unicel worked (in NH at least). It's CDMA though, not GSM...
