anywhere in Southern NH? I saw the thread about a TJ's coming to a town, but it gave me the impression that it's not common. We shop there almost exclusively for our groceries out here, but they're all over, and cheaper than the larger chains for a lot of things.

Right across the border from Nashua in Tyngesboro, MA.

The one in peabody mass is closest to the seacoast area. There's also both a Whole Foods Market AND a TJs in Swampscott a bit further down.

Maestramommy, you probably read about the Whole Foods that is coming to Nashua: Nashua Landing | Overview
The Tyngsboro TJ's is a stone's throw from Nashua.

No Trader Joe's yet in Southern NH, but we are hoping TJ's might read this and put a few in!!
I would recommend Nashua and Portsmouth/Dover to start

Portsmouth/Dover would be really nice to have a Whole Foods or Trader Joe's. Portsmouth has Philbrick's Fresh Market which is very nice, but when I'm up in Portland I find myself wandering through Whole Foods thinking how much bigger and better it is.

I don't see why they need one in Nashua since they aleady have one about a mile away.

Well, a TJ's in Nashua could cut 10-20 minutes in the drive time to Tyngsborough (and possibly more in traffic) and would also cut out having to pay Mass. taxes
I hate going to that area in rush hour, have spent 20-25 minutes stuck in traffic there before. And with todays gas prices, every bit helps

Movingback, the TJ's in Tyngsborough is literally a stones throw from the Nashua border. And there is no sales tax on food in MA, just on prepared meals The Whole Foods is coming, but I'm not quite sure when... I've been told that WF's doesn't like to announce dates to the public until within 3-6 months of opening... wish I had more info for you!
