While the OP has (hopefully) already taken care of the ticket, I'm sure this information will come in handy for somebody else. Thanks Bri, that's good information to have

I love ezpass..as far as the fine goes, if you call right up they may just take the one dollar and call it even...I was told to do that and it worked.

Always take the far right for CASH. I got nabbed in the far right land for CASH. There was no attendant. I got the pic of my car dead stopped, brake lights on which you could tell even in black and white and contested the fine. I sent them 75 cents as i was on I-95. That ended it.

Hell will freeze before I send fine monies to NJ anyway.

Or you could, you know, man up and pay the fine since you went through the wrong lane even though there are BIG PURPLE SIGNS hanging in front of you...

OP- I can understand your confusion. Until we signed on to EZ-pass finding the CASH lane was another task during a very stressfull time. Now I can concentrate on driving and not reading a dozen signs.

That switch was made when I was touring the USA. When I got back I handed over the Old Man of the Mountains tokens, and the taker looked at me as if I just came out of a coma.

The CASH signs need to be made to stand out more for a fact. And I think the tolls should be abandoned completely, as most other states have done.

I can recall a tool booth in CT on I-95 about every 1/2 mile, making the interstate slower than back roads. All the toll boots are is dangerous.

I have seen cars rear ended, seen car jump the center guard rails, and they are just dangerous.

And then in summer weekends the traffic can be backed up for 30 miles, and for what?

We miss the tokens, and more importantly, the 50% discount from buying in bulk...

I don't miss the tokens, I still got many.....somewhere. I took a fist full west and gave them to the innocent

In Cal way up high somewhere, I met folks from Euro and conned/ err traded one for a 2 dollar Euro.

They didn't 'get it' at first till I pointed out the same but larger Old Man on my mc Tag. On Pine Ridge the Sioux were crazy for the tokens.

Now if I can just live 300 more years I just might have a collectable of value yeah right.
