For boat fishing, try Mount Williams Pond, Daniels Lake, Horace Lake or Clough State Park. Most of these locations will also have a boat launch or other place to fish from shore.

To fish by walking, try fishing the river running along Reservoir Drive and River/Riverdale Road and along Clough Road below the Dam.

Good luck!

Several variety stores sell a statewide fishing atlas. mostly it seems to be the filling station type with stores in them. Irving Blue canoe stores are a good bet.or try the village breakfast place wherever you might be interested in. People will share. Nobody's afraid of running out of fish. If you really want the best fighting fish are salt water bluefish from August to Sept 30th. Once you've fished bluefish, you won't be interested in anything else. Sadly, They're not very good eating. they're mushy and oily unless you cut out the red strip running down the side. Mostly they're good for a base for a chowder.Party boats out of the State pier in Hampton are well worth the cost. Deckhands dress all your fish, for tips and you can eve grab a hot dog while underway. Makes for an easy day of recreation for short money and almost preparation required/ upfront costs.they rent rods + tackle. All you need is sunglasses and a hat, and a light coat. rarely do they get into enough roughness to cause seasickness. I've never been completely skunked on a party boat.
