Does anyone have any information on Manchester?, any information on crime stats, is housing affordable, jobs (IT and HR)???. Thank you in advance for any and all information!!

well on the Manchester page of city-data it shows crime up to 03 i think, but having been to manchester many times, i can tell you it really isn't to bad, sure theres some crime, some bad hoods in manchester, but unless your from a small town, you should be fine with it.

There is some crime (where isn't there?), but Manchester is still well below the national average.

Affordable housing? That depends on what you mean by "affordable." The cities are certainly more expensive than the rural areas. It really depends on where you're coming from.

Crime is on the up and up in Manchester due to allowing in asylum seekers and illegal aliens. I wouldn't allow my kids to go to West High School at all even if I was paid.

Manchester is a big city - and does have it's share of crime. Not sure what you looking for but you could look at the suburbs to live and commute for work maybe? - I do have family that live in the city - nice area, but for me houses are on top of one another - Versus were I live more county - over an acre of land trees, big yards, etc... It's all in your type of live style.
