Vermont would be a nice place, but there are not many jobs there.... Hawaii is an island paradise, so does that really count?

Well, of course New England has 2 of the top 3 rankings Look at all the exercise we get by living up here! In springtime, we're busy picking the rocks out of the soil so that we can garden. And then we're lifting and piling those rocks to create the stone walls that New England is known for, all around our property. Then we plant, weed, harvest and put our gardens to bed just in time for the leaves and pine needles to start falling into our yards, so we're raking, piling, mulching those. THEN come the snow... time to shovel the walk, the driveways, rake off the roof. Oh, and throwing the occasional snowball (or shovel!) at a plow truck Springtime comes, and we're back to digging out more rocks again...

With my family perpetually sick with some virus/bronchitis/scarlet fever these last couple of months, I'd hate to see how we'd fare in an unhealthy state! *lol* Maybe my family is one of the reasons NH is #3 instead of #2.

Now y'all know why I want to be out of Louisiana and into NH! Actually, that's only one of the many reasons, but the list'd be way too long!

I wonder how that is calculated? If it is through health care providers, well, I know many people in VT without health care. Not trying to put down our upside down twin, but the 22% obesity rating seems a bit low too.
