Hi there, since we'll be coming up periodically... are there any good oldies radio stations that reach the Monadnock area? We're not really into the hard rock stuff (Stones, Zepellin, Aerosmith....) but groups like the Eagles, or Chicago are good.

It's just so hard trying to find something running the dial - by the time you find one good song, it's finished and goes to a bunch of ads and you wait it out and get with with the Stones... and then we're at our destination and don't have time to fuss around.

Thanks!

Wanna-I think KNE used to be Oldies but If I remember correctly the last time we were over there it had switched to today's hits. I will ask my husband, he might know.

OK so I talked with Chris and he gave me what he remembered-he could be remembering these from a while ago and stations change format a lot-so keep that in mind.

96.3 out of Walpole, NH-he believes that it is a rebroadcast of 103.7 out of Dartmouth area.

Q106.1 out of Claremont.

99.1 out of Henniker-this might be more than just oldies. I think they renamed themselves the Frank or Joe or something because we have one of their sister stations up here that did the same. They might have some of today's music mixed in with mostly classic.

Deoending on where in the Monadnock region you are-you may be able to pick one or more of these up.

great! thanks, Lisa. Since we're going to borrow one of my parents' cars for the weekend, I don't really remember if they have a CD player or not... and fumbling around trying to find radio stations is a real pain (there always seem to be ads on when I try one!)
