About a year ago I was considering a home at this address and it was priced at about $240k. Now today it is priced at $75k. Obviously with the economy the area has taken a hit. Can someone tell me about the area, job market, how close to shopping,etc...?

It's a shame.I researched the area about a year ago when me and the family were considering leaving long island. The home on realtor.com looked beautiful( 6 bed,3 bth,in-law suite built in 1997,3 car garage) but when I researched and spoke to realtors they told me only small businesses kind of nearby and everything else was so far away.We wound up in the suburbs of Rochester,NY. I think we definitely made the right choice.

I could think of towns a lot more isolated than that one. It is not that far from Lancaster and Littleton.
