NH home prices are higher than many areas of the country; but they are no-where near the highest. People also like to live here, whereas in many cheaper areas- they do not. Likewise quality varies from builder to builder of course just like anywhere else- be involved and know what you want.

Joel Winters out of Manchester is one of the best carpeneter/roofers I've ever seen. He's really top notch.

Default Any Recommendations for the Lake Sunapee Area?

While the OP was mainly asking about builders in the Seacoast area back in 2009, I thought I would revive this thread to see if anyone could recommend a quality home builder in the Sunapee/New London area. This would be for a house around 2,300 SF, on an "in-town" lot.

I know of Snow Construction and Old Hampshire Designs, but that's about it. Also, do builders in NH typically construct houses within a small radius from their offices or do some closer to the seacoast work outside that region as well?

Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks.
