We are looking for a nice, upscale neighborhood that is within one hour of Logan. We are looking for low crime, good schools and has nice restaurants, shopping, etc. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

That's the holy grail. You can basically look as far north as Portsmouth - for good schools that means Exeter, Hampton Falls, Rye and New Castle - and as far northwest as Hollis. At rush hour, no guarantees.

I'd look at Hollis and perhaps Amherst.

Made it to the airport in 40 minutes the other day...it was 5am; but still- unless during rush hour its very reasonable. Honestly even during rush hour I've gotten home in less than an hour 30...which doesn't seem to bad for me given the distance/size of Boston.

Also puts Manchester Airport at about 20 minutes (which has more and more good flights).

Manchester is the easiest airport I have ever flown out of.

Logan is my second (love how its a huge airport that's divided up essentially into 4 smaller ones).

Lliving up here is nice!

Anything south of Manchester. I am fond of Londonderry as I have lived here for 26 years and commuted to Boston for most of that time.
