A bit further to the east, Northwood is nicer along the lake- although the taxes there are even worse. What town did you end up deciding on?

I lived in Epsom for quite a few years and didnt know that it had a downtown. Where abouts is it? There are some really nice areas on the outskirts of Epsom. Your right, the location is very convienent. Theres pretty much anything you would need within a short drive.

We ended up buying in Amherst. We love it here. Ideally, I would like to be closer to the ocean, but this was the best tradeoff in terms of still having a yard.

My calling it a "downtown" is probably an overstatement, but it seemed like a central area. The town clerk is listed at 27 Black Hall Rd., but that doesn't look like the area from what I can tell on Google Maps. This was a street with some pretty run-down looking buildings and some people hanging around -- maybe a convenience store? -- we were just circling around from the house we were looking at and stumbled on this area.

The 'Lord of the Flies' culture around Epsom is rather disturbing, as well. It is spreading across New Hampshire...south or midwest, if you're smart.

Your post makes absolutely no sense.

Note "LeavingNE" has left for some reason. I would like to know why?
