Hi, guys, would you please recommend some spots for fishing in Nashua, I don't have a boat, so I usually go to Mine Falls park, but seldom catch anything there. Thanks.
Mine Falls park is pretty big and there are always people fishing from boats. Everyone I have spoken to just throws the catch back in so I can't say how big their catches were. We have only gotten Sunfish but we have been told that people catch bass there.
I 2nd that about good size bass at Mines Falls. I caught a 3 1/2 lb. bass there. I was in a canoe though. I was using a topwater lure near the shore and it just jumped out of the water after my lure. LOVE bass fishin'!!! If you check out the NH Fish and Game website Depth Maps of Selected NH Lakes and Ponds - N.H. Fish and Game (this link in particular) it'll tell you where you can fish in each town and what kind of fish are in that lake/pond/river. I use this link all the time to find new fishing spots.
Good Luck!!!
The best spot in Nashua to fish at is upta' Gochatchum Brook. Good luck.
