Car registration fees in Manchester (city hall, cost, title)

Hello.. I just moved back here from AZ.. and wondering why.. But my question is about car registration, I called CITY HALL.. lot of help they, and asked what the cost would be, she told me she couldn't tell me that over the phone.. like its a big secret.. So has anyone had to register thier car recently, or moved here and had to get a NH title and registration?? I have an 04 pontiac sunfire if that helps.. Even a ball park would help.. Thanks!

she would have to look up the make, model, year and weight to give you an answer - probably did not have the time.


considering the car is 6 years old, the registration fees should be minimal - roughly $100 to the city and the state combined. If the car were new, you would pay a much higher fee. It get's less every year for the first 5 years, and then stays the same.
