I know this seems like a frivolous question among all those seeking housing, job and school info, but after growing up in South Jersey and living in Florida for over 30 years, there are just some things that MUST be experienced when heading back to Jersey for a few days.

I haven't been up there in years and I have three must-have items. My sister's taking care of my Jersey corn and Jersey tomato cravings at her BBQ this weekend, but I reeeally need find out where I can go and chow down on a huge, delicious pile of crabs and spaghetti, done right. I'll be spending most of my time in the Turnersville and Cinnaminson areas, with possible jaunts to the Newfield/Vineland and Bridgeton/Greenwich areas, but I don't really mind doing some driving to get a really good meal. Heck, I'm used to Florida now where it seems that everything's a long drive.

So, where can I find the good stuff???

Palace Buffet in Turnersville has an $11.99 dinner buffet every night of the week with all you can eat snow crab legs. I'm not a fan of the blue crabs, but I absolutely love snow crab legs. Their spaghetti is lo mein noodles though...
For great pasta try Cafe Antonios in Collingswood. Their Linguine with Jumbo Lump Crabmeat is awesome and a steal at $17.

Where is your sister getting corn and tomatoes? I don't think you can get these grown in NJ; it's too early in the season. (NJ hothouse tomatoes, maybe)

You can get hothouse tomatoes, but the real ones aren't out yet. Jersey corn is going on sale any day now and I think the one market near me is already selling.

As for good spaghetti and crabs, you just need to find a good Italian place. The one in Collingswood that was recommended is good as is Nunzio's which is also in Collingswood. Since you are going to be in Cinnaminson, you might want to check out Due Amici's, which has excellent food. Another option is Bruno's in Haddon Township.

I highly recommend Due Amici's as we are regulars there. I've heard a lot of good about Brunos too.
