Yes, safe, imo...
Our son, wife and their daughter have lived there for 8+ years. Cop force is considerable in size/manpower for the smallish town, most neighborhoods are middle class, and kept up,
and while transient thugs are everywhere, it's a decent solid area, imo.

Magnolia has never been known as a hotbed of crime. I take it that you don't approve, but I cannot say that it is not safe, if you take normal precautions.

I never heard about any problems with Magnolia, but I think a few of those little towns down there have some problems don't they? There's been the recent discussion on Lindenwold and Clementon, but I've also heard some things about Lawnside, Barrington and Bellmawr that weren't very pleasant. Stratford looks OK from what I've seen of it, and I knew someone who lived in Laurel Springs and said there was nothing wrong with it.

Both sides of Barrington are fine, over all. My brother-in-law is from the south side (The side across the Pike from Haddonfield). most of his family is there, & I have heard nothing. Believe me, if there were problems, I'd hear about it because his family would be driving him & my sister nuts.

Bellmawr seems okay from driving through quite a bit. Older town with smaller homes but looks perfectly safe to me. Same deal with Magnolia, Stratford, Somerdale, etc. Most of Lindenwold is nice too, but the schools are supposedly not as good as in surrounding areas.
