Medford is in the middle of nowhere.

And it's kindergarten we are talking about here, not high school. I doubt there will be much difference in educational quality for a kindergartener between school districts in NJ, except maybe in places like Camden or Trenton. Either way, ALL school districts in NJ are probably way better than anything in Texas.

We moved to Cherry Hill from the NY area six years ago and really like it here. I've been through Mt. Laurel and Marlton plenty of times and think that you would be pleased with all of those towns. CH probably gets the best marks, but I think they would all offer a good education to your child. I've always felt that as a parent, you help level the playing field anyway.

We are moving to this area this summer, too! And kiki, if you think you are stressing about moving from Texas, we are moving from Canada! And my kids are older so I am stressing a TON about schools! My input here is that I have heard that a lot of people who live in Mount Laurel commute to Philly for work. I am wondering about Cherry Hill because a friend of mine commented that she heard some bad things about it but she didn't elaborate and she hasn't lived in NJ for over ten years so not sure what to make of that. It seems from an earlier comment that people in this forum think Cherry Hill might be better than ML?
I am also wondering which community will have more stay-at-home-moms? You said you will be one, and I will be as well (at least for the first little while). There doesn't seem to be any online moms groups in that area. I know there is the Moms Clubs but you need to be there before you can join.

Luhts- I didn't see this post from you and just replied to your other one. Where in Canada? I guess the positive is that you're used to the cold weather??? I have no idea about Cherry Hill. We're going to look there, Mount Laurel, Marlton, Moorestown, Woolwich and Mullica Hill. I just want to stay in the same district from renting to buying. I think the move will be a little tough on my son so I want him to have as few changes as possible once we get there. I was looking at Moms groups too and didn't come across any except for Moms Club Int. That's the same one I joined here in TX and I would've been lost without it. I didn't even think about which community would have more SAHM's, that's a good question. If you don't mind, will you let me know any information you find out and I'll do the same for you?

Instead of posting your hearsay about Cherry Hill, in multiple threads you should have just started a thread. The answer is that Cherry Hill has bad traffic.

I had to answer the same hearsay multiple times. I suggested to you to not do that & to start a thread & ask. Since you feel that I have a bad attitude, for saying that, no problem. I won't post to you again. Hope you have a good move.

Lol, people in South Jersey are nice, don't pay mind to anonymous people on the internet giving you a hard time. Cherry Hill is one of the best places you could live in this area, not sure what your friend was alluding to. Mt. Laurel is also very good - you can't go wrong either way.
