Long story short: My older sister worked at Shoprite with Dot (Dorothea) Jon's wife. I still remember visiting my sis at work and seeing Jon standing there talking to Dot. I was only about 12. I remember the fringes !!

But what I really wish for is a local concert. One that would be at his old High School. A benefit for someone in need. Some families. Buy more vests for the PD, a new truck for the FD, a new home for a homeless family or something along those lines. Jon still has family here. That would ideal. I would go.

You know, if you contacted the proper channels, I'm sure you could make that suggestion. Did you see him on Oprah last season when they donated $1,000,000.00 to her donation foundation (I think it was for Katrina victims) and they also went to a school in NJ (maybe E. Orange or something like that) and donated new laptops, bookbags and Gap gift certificates to the kids!!! They really are great and I don't say that because of who they are, I say that because being who they are they are some of the only people who seem to keep their private lives (wives, children, homes, whatever) out of the limelight. They seem to be normal average guys who happen to be in a band. They're not in tabloids and all that crap (except Richie who's dating that dumb bimbo D.R.)...it's nice to see something like that and see that they can still have a heart. Anyway, I'm sure other people who read that will laugh, but it's true, they're jersey boys through and through. Anyway, I also suggest you look into making that suggestion because he did show up at, I believe it was Monmouth Community College (I think it was last year) during graduation. I don't think he sang or anything but he was there (for something ).....

When we were about 11 or 12, my b/f got JBJ's brother's phone number somehow (can't remember which brother M or T)...I can't remember the story, something like a friend of a friend of ours went to school with him, etc, etc. and we pranked him like a million times (we also got the phone # to Dave Sabo's---skid row---mom's house and we talked to her for like a half hour) what retards we were.
