The areas surrounding Wrightstown are nice - but I wouldn't live IN Wrightstown - I totally agree with Gerania. Look at North Hanover, Chesterfield, Bordentown, and Springfield.

yes - its actually quite clear - the towns that surround Wrightstown are nice. I wouldn't consider an AREA just one town....if you're asking about Wrightstown only - then its rundown and I wouldn't live there.

Agree with what others are saying. Wrightstown itself isn't very nice, but the surrounding communities are.

If you're moving there because of the military you know why..... most towns outside of a base are on the dumpy side. It's improved considerably over the last 15 years, but it's got a long way to go. The towns mentioned above are nice, though. Stay away from Browns Mills, Bordentown City and most of Mt Holly too.

I lived in Burlington twp, and enjoyed my life there. Only 25 minutes drive to McGuire AFB, and about the same to Philly (center city). The Ocean is about 45 minutes away. It's a great area, because it's so close to several major cities, the ocean, Delaware river, and mountains. If you can't find something to do within a two hour drive I'd be surprised! Southern NJ is much less crowded, and affordable as well.

Most military members don't live IN Wrightstown. Look at Marlton, Medford, Mt Laurel, Tabernacle, Shamong. It's about a 40+ minute commute to the base, but the schools and quality of life are significantly better than anything you would find in and around the bases. This is coming from a 21 year active duty family who has been stationed here TWICE in the last 10 years.
