I posted this in the Philadelphia formum, but I wanted feedback from NJ residents as well:

We are considering relocating to the area and I was wondering if anyone knows of good Spanish immersion elementary schools and/or programs in the area (our oldest will start kindegarten in fall 2012). My spouse is from Spain, so he talks to our kids in Spanish, but we would like them to get more exposure to the language.

My spouse would be working in NE Philadelphia, so we would most likely choose to live in the northern Philly suburbs (Rydal, Jenkintown, Glenside, Abington, Elkins Park, Meadowbrook, Huntingdon Valley) or in the NJ surburbs just outside Philly (Riverton, Cinnaminson or possibly Moorestown depending on the distance). If you know of any great Spanish immersion daycare and/or pre-K programs, please pass them along as well.

Thanks!

Did you get any feedback on this post?

We also have the same question. Where did you end up going for day care?

I have never heard of any in South Jersey. Anyone that there is will most likely be a charter school. There are a few dual-language/immersion charter's in North Jersey, but none in South Jersey. Here is a link that let's you search all of the available charter's by county and specialty...
