The apartments in Voorhees you want to stay away from are Echelon Glen and The Club at Main Street. Don't know anything about Burnt Mill, but that part of Voorhees is getting a bit dicey since it's right next to Lindenwold and Lawnside, which are both pretty ghetto.
I find Collingswood pretty nice, actually. What's ghetto is the apartment complex I live in. It's right next to Camden, and for some reason they all get section 8 vouchers.. come here.. pee in the elevators, hang out in the lobby, sell drugs.. etc. Ugh.

The Heights of Collingswood (aka Parkview, formerly Sutton Towers), right?

That complex has been an issue for the town for the longest time. The town itself actually took it over at one point when it was Sutton Towers and they converted it to Parkview and did a lot of rehab. Then it was sold and became The Heights and the town no longer has any interest in the complex.

FWIW, if you like Collingswood, but hate those apartments, look for another rental in town. There are a lot of nice little apartments above the store fronts on Haddon Ave. as well as a lot of single family and row homes/twins for rent throughout town.

You got it! The Slums of Collingswood
I do like the area, and we aren't closed minded as to looking around town for apartments too. Honestly, we are USUALLY more comfortable with apartment complexes vs dealing with 1 apartment with 1 landlord. You just never know what kind of mess you can get yourself into
