I work in the Navy yard in Philadelphia and looking to stay in an apartment/community with Indian community. I am quite new to this part of the country and any pointers will be really helpful. My budget for rent is around $800 - $1000 a month.

I read that Cherry Hill is good and diverse with Indian community. Any part of Cherry Hill which can be suggested or any other place too will be helpful

Thanks

Bellmawr has a large Indian Community, look at the apartments on Browning Rd next to the Library.

Echelon Glenn in Voorhees on the border of Cherry Hill is good, 295 is accessible from somerdale rd to white horse pike. That's a mixed area close to 2 or 3 Indian grocery stores. The camden county library is walking distance from there as well.

Perhaps consider Bensalem, PA. Indian community, and some big Indian grocery stores there. Also, there wouldn't be a $5 toll for the daily commute.

That's true. But depending on when he works, I wouldn't want to take that I95.

I typically work from 9 to 5. So has to choose between taking 95 or 76 which has equal traffic during rush hours I believe

Cherry Hill/Voorhees (particularly Echelon) are probably your best bets, especially if you're looking for family-oriented areas. You may have to go a bit over budget though.

i agree w/cherry hill/voorhees. bensalem and other pa areas are good, but if you work in the navy yard, nj is the easiest in and out
