Is there such a thing as reasonable tree removal service? Can someone recommend an insured business in the Bayville area to remove one dead tree and one live tree? Thanks

Thank you, but I don't think he would drive 1.5 hours to cut down two trees. The trees are big, but not that big. If I ever have a larger job, I would definitely call Bansky Trees.

I was told by the guy at White Horse tree service that prices were higher right now because they are in high demand after the hurricane damage and that the prices will likely drop again soon.

Good to know, thanks. I originally thought prices would be lower in the winter, but forgot about the hurricane.

I think they're higher because you can only prune/cut trees during two times of the year: Spring and Fall. Temperatures need to be cool to prune trees (unless they're dead or getting cut down).

Two guys knocked on our door and offered to trim the pine tree that was 30+ feet. Asked how much to remove it and he said $125! I said to it! Prolly did not have insurance but I watched them like a hawk and everything went great., fast as heck too
