Why do you think that companies hire college students in the summer? Most vacations occur while school is out.
But unlike all those full-time employees who take vacations, college students never drive?

I bet you think Medford is more convenient than Lower Merion too.

Not in the least. I recommend the inner towns to people commuting to Center City.

In the case of this thread, the OP is looking at a 50 mile radius from Philly. This is for the South Jersey suburbs. It he wants a PA suburbs slant he'll ask on the Philly board. Got that?

Jersey people can (and should) come onto the Philly board to give their opinion when it makes sense. Not only are the PA suburbs within a 50 mile radius of Philadelphia but he mentioned his wife was leaning toward PA as well.

I'm hardly a PA-or-bust guy. The OP should just know all possible options relevant to his inquiry. Jersey usually lands you a better value (and in many instances most definitely a better commute), while PA's suburbs tend to have more personality. These are the distinguishing pros and cons and the primary factors someone should be considering when they're debating between both sides of the river. And that's all I have to say on the matter.

Got that?

Thanks everyone for your input. Since the 1st post I have looked over in PA. As of today, I am still leaning toward Mt.Laurel and Moorsetown. I do have time on my side, still looking @ June 2012 to move.
Happy Holidays Everyone!
