Can you tell me about Turnersville...I am thinking of relocating our family there from Union County in central NJ? We have kids, an at home business? Is it a familty oriented town?

I moved to Washington twp. from Union county about 4 yers ago and I love it... Washington twp is very close to Turnersville and both towns are very family oriented. The schools are great, low crime-especially when you compare it to Union county.

We are in the process from moving here to Woolwich twp/Swedesbor area. Also a great town with great schools.

Hope this worked-

Need more info. let me know-

Default Turnersville

I moved to Turnersville, which was Blackwood (post office) at the time, in 1960 when I was 3. It has grown so much, but the schools are what people move here for. There is so much to do for kids and family. I'm in real estate and selling houses here now, and it's easier selling something you believe in.

Turnersville is nice. Traffic on 42 is a pain if you will be working in the city. Further south you would consider Woolwich, Mullica Hill, etc. If you need to be closer to the city, Gloucester Township offers more affordable housing but still has good schools. Most of S. NJ is family oriented so picking an area might depend on your commute to work.

I've lived in Turnersville for 45 years and still think it's a great place to live. It's grown a lot in the past 45 years but it's convenient to everything; hospitals schools shopping. You name it we've got it.

So true. To me it seems like an extension of South Philly in some ways. So does Hammonton, NJ also.
