I just tried to call using TMobile. I can receive calls but can't call out, given message "Emergency Calls Only!".
Does anyone else have this and any ideas if it is post-Sandy complications?

My Verizon service worked throughout the storm with no issues. I do know that the government can shut down non-emergency cell service in order to keep the lines open for emergency personnel, so maybe that is what you were running into in your local area.

I was calling my sister with my Verizon cell hone on her land line to make sure they were OK. The calls all went through but a lot of connections were bad because of high winds on both ends.
