Any opinions about the private full-day K options in this area?
I hear mixed things about the EDKP (extended day program) in Haddonfield, so I am considering other options including Haddonfield Friends, JCC Cherry Hill, and Beechwood.
Beechwood has a long waiting list so it would be a long shot. Religious education is not important to me, but I would consider Quaker or Jewish schools, though not Catholic. Both parents work full-time so full-day K is a must.
Thanks!

Good thing you are open to Quaker schools because Haddonfield Friends School is a Quaker school. You also have Moorestown Friends, Cherry Hill Montessori and MCD in Marlton.

One of my cousins sent her son to Haddonfield Friends through Kindergarten and was very pleased with the school. A coworker of mine who lives in Cherry Hill sent his kids to Castle Academy in Barrington up through 1st grade and did nothing but rave about the school.

Thanks, Ms_Christina.
I'd like to geographically restrict my search to the Cherry Hill/Haddonfield area, so I'm not considering Moorestown or Marlton at this point. My instinct tells me that my kid might do better with more structure than a Montessori approach, though I haven't ruled anything out yet.
It would be so helpful to hear other parents' first-hand experiences and recommendations!

Thanks so much, NJGOAT - I hadn't heard of Castle Academy and Barrington would certainly be doable...
