Relocating to NJ from CA. Want to be between where my husband's new job is in Edison and where the folks are in Cherry Hill.
We need good elementary schools and family friendly neighborhoods!
Any ideas??
Thanks in advance!
Anna

Cranbury is cute (roughly 30 minutes to Edison, 45 to Cherry Hill this is all best case sometimes there is traffic of course) . Robbinsville (40 minutes to Edison, 30 minutes to Cherry Hill) has some nice, new schools. You'd probably want to be some place off the turnpike at 7A, 8, 8A. Being at 8A maybe be best for your husband to avoid the horrid traffic merge sout of 8A. But you could always take Route 130 and get on at 8A even if you say lived at 8, your husband could take the turnpike to work and you could also take the TP to cherry hill. I used to go back and fourth from cherry hill area to robbinsville a lot, I prefer 130 to 195 to 295 as my route. 295 is awesome on weekends, barely any traffic.

You may want to consider Piscataway
(http://newjersey.craigslist.org/search/rfs?query=piscataway&minAsk=min&maxAsk=max - broken link) that is right next to Edison with good schools so your husband will have easy communite, then it will be very easy to access NJ Turnpike that you can visit Cherry Hill easily. The area near Edison and has easy access to NJ Turnpike would be Society Hill at Piscataway area that's condo and townhouses community, if you need 4br/5br houses, Nob Hill area is right next to it, same 5th builder K Hov.

Nob Hill in Piscataway also has a 3 bedroom model, smallish in size (about 1400-1500 sq ft).

Are you buying or renting? How much do you want to spend in mortgage/rent? What type of place are you looking for? Apartment? Single Family Home? etc.
