Hi everyone! Against my better judgment, I left New Jersey in 2009 (BOO HOO), but I am moving back the end of March (YAHOO).
I can't decide whether to return to my former residence at Allison Apts in Marlton, or to go with Rivercove Apts in Thorofare (West Deptford).
I liked living in Marlton, but I also want to consider Thorofare/West Deptford.
If I liked living in Marlton, would I like West Deptford also? I will be doing the rental process from my current location in Kansas, so your opinions are very important to me. (I am in my late 50s, so I am looking for a "mature" area.)

Either area is very nice. Marlton is closer to just about every store in your imagination, though.. I don't know too much about West Depford. Have you though about Moorestown, Medford or Riverton? Riverton is right on the Delaware and has gorgeous Victorian homes..

Thanks Frank for the info.... I need to be near the NJTP and/or I295, plus I have a 950 budget for rent. Medford is beautiful (I always got my Christmas tree there), but isn't it too far of a drive to I295 or the NJTP? (Correct me if I'm wrong.)
I'm asking about Thorofare because Rivercove is a 55+ community, and that appeals to this old Grandma.

Well i wouldn't exactly call Medford right next to the turnpike. Probably looking at a 15-20 minute drive depending on traffic. Could be longer if you are deeper into Medford.
Tim -- Thank you for this awesome link. I can't buy right now, but still looking for rentals in 55+ communities.
You're welcome. I would think you would also find some rentals in these developments, too.
