This portends to be unfortunate.

I'm enjoying the conspiracy theories that Norcross was basically behind every bid and there was no way it wasn't becoming a Cooper affiliated medical facility.

That is awful. It is going to destroy that intersection which already sucks.

There is so much unoccupied space already existing, why do they have to build new? Can't they do something with all the building Virtua just vacated to move over to 73?

Taking their statement at face value, it sounds like they'll operate it in a similar manner to (quasi-nearby) Deerfield Country Club, the formerly private Louviers Country Club that's now operated as a high-end public facility.

But the addition of "The Village" makes me somewhat skeptical of their intentions. Maybe it's a change in branding so that if/when the club doesn't turn enough of a profit for their liking and they decide to bulldoze the whole thing and put in condos, it'll have greater name recognition. Hopefully it won't come to that, of course.

Yeah, even the articles written say it will remain a golf course "for now"
