Hi All:

Looking for advice where to move. We live in Jersey-very congested, not happy about that. Child has IEP in public school - not happy with the school. Attend a local synagogue for services and Hebrew school - not happy with the amount of learning (too little) for the kids.

Looking for a relatively quiet neighborhood, close to a synagogue or Jewish private school, with many down to earth people, not rich snobs. Preferably low cost of living.

Any ideas?

What about work? Does that matter at all? I'm sure you don't want to schlep long distances, so if you give us a work location, that would help us help you. Dollar amounts of what you can afford and what your income is would be helpful as well.

sah625, where do you live, in what area do you work, which school district do you dislike?

Are you looking to move somewhere in NJ, or are you saying you want to move out of the state? Your "low cost of living" threw me, because you're not going to find that in NJ.

A housing budget is helpful, but we don't need someone's income.

If you are planing on staying in NJ & if you don't have to commute to NYC, check out Linwood, outside of Atlantic City. The community is very tight knit, schools are excellent and prices for homes start around the mid $200,000.
