]My husband is planning on relocating by mid summer, We have already looked at several towns close to Horsham PA and find the main line quite pricey. Are there towns in NJ we should be looking into?

Home price 300,000-400,000

4 Bedrooms

excellent public schools is most important.

Thanks in advance!

The Main Line isn't that convenient to Horsham anyway.

Stick to the PA side. Lower Moreland, Plymouth-Whitemarsh, Wissahickon, Central Bucks, etc. are all excellent choices.

My husband will commute up to 45 minutes. After doing some research, we will probably stay in PA. It is just really hard to find a home in our price range near Horsham.
Thanks for your replies.

You should be able to find a nice split-level in Warminster in that price range. There are lots if modest single homes in Hatboro, Horsham, Willow Grove, and Warminster.
