Collingswood's blue-collar reality might seem to clash a bit with its fancy restaurant row.

Looking down from my North Jersey high horse, neither qualifies as trendy, hip, or otherwise notable.

Honestly, they're both nice, and Westmont would be too if they could get that darn Towne Center built, with the ground-level retail intact.

"Looking down from my North Jersey high horse" your honesty is appreciated. :-)

I'm looking at it from life-long bluer collar Bellmawr... and very recently Deptford.

Bellmawr is good town and I'd recommend it to a lot of people especially those needing a lot of value for there starting out buck, but its identity is "Ya know where all the roads meet, all the traffic, all the construction, what are they building on that landfill with all the huge pile of dirt?"

Deptford's identity is "The Mall, the traffic"

Collingswood's identity "Nice main street area that breeds nice town events. Easy access to Patco... Philadelphia is a block away"

But I've digressed from the original subject. :-)
