Taking train Saturday from Cherry Hill to Atlantic City, and would like to know how close to the beach/boardwalk the AC train station is. Walkable? If not, how easy is it to get a cab?

Any advice is appreciated.

When you get off the train at AC, there are shuttles that you can ride to the casinos. Just leave a small tips. You can also walk (not too far) and you may want to do that if you are interested in doing some shopping at those outlet stores.

During the day, it's not a problem walking. I wouldn't do it at night.

15 minutes to walk to the pier. The station is connected to the convention center so there are always cabs and casino shuttles.

It's five blocks from the train station to the beach.
