We're considering buying a townhome at Chanticleer in Cherry Hill. Can anybody tell me about their experience living there? We're a little concerned about the rules, especially parking, as we have two cars. Do they strictly enforce the 72-hour rule?

Hmm. I'm aware of that section. I walk through there a lot with my pups.

I can't absolutely say it wouldn't happen, but I'm not aware parking is being monitored to the point of someone being towed. You don't get two parking spots? 1200 court gives you a two car driveway right in front of the unit.......and the 400 court gives you one in front of the garage and I'm almost positive assigns you a 2nd one........

What is it about 700 court that you like? I have an opinion about it.

There is a one car garage and barely a driveway that won't fit one car... ,We like how bright and airy the interior is with the cathedral ceiling. Bedrooms have lots of room with 2 walkin closets. Kitchen is also large... Our main cons is that there is no yard, the parking situation, and the hoa fees are expensive for amenities we will probably barely use... I welcome your opinion. Thank you.

I guess what I would say is that I think Chanticleer as a community is very pretty. They do a great job with the landscaping and all of that in the summer months, it looks really nice.

The pool was just totally rehabbed, and I agree, I don't use it that much, but it is nice to stop by once in a while. I've never used the fitness stuff.

The HOA fees will be different for different sections of the community. Reason being, some will budget more money for things like snow removal or new roofs to avoid special assessments . So there will be some that have higher HOA than what you are seeing but it covers things more fully than other sections. At least that is how I understand it.

I think some of the units in Chanticleer can give you more of a single family home feel than others. I'm not a fan of the idea of living above or below someone. That feels apartment to me.

Anyway, to your initial question. I sincerely doubt you have to worry about a car being towed.
