Thanks for the input, is it really that expensive to travel to downtown by car as I saw several lot with monthly parking from 200-220 right next to Logan Square. Considering patio will also cost 100+ and comes with its own shares of walking one need to do i really don't think car as a bad idea unless I am missing something in equation.

Is there any major toll charge for commute via car from NJ to Philly downtown

Well the bridge is a toll you pay once, $5 going from NJ to PA. Factor in traffic, gas, wear and tear on the heviclebas well, and it adds up along with the parking.

I don't have the figures on hand, but I'd guess a substantial majority of commuters to Philly from South Jersey drive their car into work every day. It really depends on your budget and what mode of transit you prefer.

Most NJ Transit buses can take you to a PATCO train station so a car isn't always required.
