Don’t say that, that’s the last thing we need. It would set off an explosion that we would never recover from. Even as is, the division he has sown is now the biggest threat to our future IMO. I don’t think we will recover from it to be honest. But that would start a war and a chain of violence that I for one don’t want to see. I worry even about what’s going to happen should he get voted out, I don’t think it will be accepted. Sometimes I wonder which is more frightening, him getting a second term or losing the election. I fear both have their own reasons for concern. But neither is as terrifying as the thought of what would happen if he were assassinated.

I don't want anything that turns him into a martyr.

My sister has heard from some people who she knows who have property in and near Wildwood that the place is crawling with people who are there to see if people show up who are outsiders, since the locals don't like him.

Maybe I am naive as a west coaster, but isn’t that basically his backyard? A bit like a SF candidate showing up in Santa Cruz or Monterey?

Not so much. Wildwood is South Jersey, a different world from the NYC metro.

South Jersey and North Jersey are very different. North Jersey focuses on NYC. South Jersey focuses on Philadelphia. There's a lot more small towns and farms in South Jersey. They're just different.

Yeah, it's the right that's been the most violent the past four years.

You sound constantly scared. I hope you own a big dog.

You can't help but being wrong all the time, can you?
