We're looking to buy in Verona and I need some advice. One of the reasons we're looking in the area is the schools, which I heard are quite good. However, the house we're really interested in is zoned for Forest Avenue Elementary, and Great Schools ranks it 4/10. Other sites like School Digger also rank it poorly. It looks like there's been a big dip recently.

Is there anyone in the area that can provide some insight - what is the school like and has something recently changed?

Appreciate any info

Verona is not a suburb of Philadelphia. This should be in the general NJ forum.

That said, Verona is a pretty well-off town. I’m shocked to see a school there rated as low as a 4 out of 10. I can’t speak any more to it as I’m not intimately familiar with the town or that school.

Posting in the general NJ forum might get other responses of people who could provide more insight.

Verona is a beautiful town in No. Jersey. Your questions should go to that forum.
