What are these areas like? How are the property taxes? Crime? Shopping? Weather? Entertainment? Rural? Suburbs?

I don't know where you are so I don't quite know how to compare. I have no idea what the taxes are like in those towns, but almost everything in NJ is high and it's got to be lower than where I live.

Crime is not bad; you're not always looking over your shoulder. Williamstown has an unhappy area but you don't have to live there.

Stores are popping up like dandelions in the area so you shouldn't have to go too far to get anything that you need or want.

Entertainment? Well, I guess that depends on what you're looking for. Every town has restaurants, bars, movies. If you're interested in something bigger, you can go north to Philadelphia or south to Atlantic City for a concert or show.

While neither place is quite rural, Williamstown is a bit bigger and busier than Franklinville.

The weather is warm and humid in the summer. I say warm because I used to live in south central NC; that was hot. It's cold in the winter with light, sometimes moderate snow. I also used to live in northeastern PA and that area is colder and has more snow than we do down here. A good day in Jersey: snowing in Allentown. a wintery mix in Philadelphia, raining in S Jersey!

I am a New Jersey DEP radon mitigation specialist......I've mitigatated numerous homes in Williamstown over the past 20+ years and more recently Franklinville as its started to grow.......if you buy in either location get a radon test.
