Hello All!

We found a home in Tanglwood Lakes we really like, and are thinking of putting in an offer. It seems like a beautiful area... with Lake Tanglwood, Lake Wallenpaupak, and the golf course.

I'm really hoping someone (a resident or someone from the area) can offer their opinion (PROS and CONS) of this community before we make such a BIG decision.

1. How do you like the association? Are people friendly neighbors??

2. Do you like the amenities and find things to do YEAR-round? Are there planned social events, classes, holiday parties, etc... ESPECIALLY for kids?? We didn't see any young children during our real estate visit. Are there young families in this development?

3. How is the beach / marina area? Is it easy to launch a kayak or canoe into Lake Wallenpaupack? Does the beach area get overly-crowded?

4. In general, is the community quiet, peaceful, and safe?

5. I did read some prior threads, and nobody really seems to have negatives. Are there any cons to this development?

I know lots of questions!!! But... any information is greatly appreciated. I hope somebody out there knows current specifics and is willing to share. Thanks so much!!

Sorry I didn't see this post sooner but if you want to be a weekender, it's not good. Full timer is a little better.
