You'll need a car if you're working in Piscataway. There is little to no public transportation there.

Oh! I am a new driver. Are there aggressive drivers all around like in Boston or do you think I can manage?

you'll always remain a "new driver" unless you try driving for a few weeks. driving in central NJ is easy; as long as you get used to the jug handle turns!

Drivers in Jersey aren't as aggressive as drivers in Boston. They just suck at driving (aggressive or not). But like mentioned before me central Jersey driving isn't too bad. But it keeps getting worse the further northeast you go (climaxing in Hudson cty and the city).

Birch Glen, Maple Grove, and Canterbury are 3 apartment/town home complexes on Birch Run Drive, near Possumtown road. Birch Glen is the newer one out of the three.

Where is your work address? There are many rental apartments in Piscataway, if you choose right one, you may be able to walk to work. There is also NJ Transit 980 that loop through major companies in Piscataway.
