Any one help me and tell me about East Brunswick and South Brunswick. I don't know anything about them except that the school system is excellent in both. I'm looking for a rental, I prefer a house in community (pool, playground). I have 4 children, 3 in high school and 1 in 6th grade. also I will need to commute from my house to Newark (UMDNJ).
I'd probably choose EB over SB. I think EB would be an easier commute to Newark. Just an FYI, EB High School is grades 10-12 and junior high is 8-9 vs. SB grades 9-12.

Hi Hope,
Please can you confirm on your move.
I am planning to move to EB but not decided as yet, any inputs in your experience will be helpful. Appreciate it, thank you!
I think EB and SB commute might be just about equal. Sure, EB is by exit 9 on NJTP and SB is by exit 8A on NJTP (and 8A is south by 9 miles compared to exit 9), but getting from your apartment to exit 9 might take significant time. So, my suggestion will be to look at how far the apartment is from the entry/exit point of NJTP. Also, there is a major project going on on Rt18/exit 9 which, I think, will go on for another couple of years. There is yet another NJTP widening project going on south of Exit 9, but I think its effect is limited north of exit 8A, especially in the morning, going northbound.
