Hi we are a Caribbean American family looking for a home in an area with some diversity. Our number one priority is that the school district must be very good followed by some diversity in the area. I work in Manhattan and would like some what of an easy commute, about 1 to 1:15 max door to door transportation. Our budget is max $500K. Is there any area that you guys can suggest. Thanks for your help.

I would suggest Bergen County. Try Westwood....this is where I'm moving to from Englewood. Englewood is great but the public schools system is not the best and lacks diversity. The town itself is very diverse though.

Hasbrouck Heights, Rutherford, East Rutherford would all fit the bill. While not all super diverse towns, they do have some diversity. All pretty close to the city and you would get a lot for $500K.
