Just be aware that traffic in Paramus at rush hours is a horror, so 30 minutes might not be too far away.
Looking at your rent budget, I thought of Fair Lawn, a good-sized town next to Paramus, and did a search on Realtor.com, and here's what I found:
Fairlawn, NJ, Real Estate Listings and Fairlawn Rentals for Rent - REALTOR.com®
Fair Lawn has everything and is accessible to everything.
Only one rental for that price showed up for Paramus (in a 2-family).
