Hi we are a young family moving to Bergen County from south Jersey. We are looking to rent a house to get a feel for the area first and are stuck between the towns.

We dont want to have to move our kids again so schools are very important and top priority, As well as a family friendly town. From what we saw both look very nice but we only know what we see. Any thoughts?

Thx!

Northeast or Northwest Bergen County? BMW or Benz?

Both are fantastic towns with great schools. Wyckoff is most likely considered the slightly fancier of the two.

Yikes! Well I drive a Lincoln- guess I am not going to fit in! I saw that Closter has a slightly better high school but I guess that could all change. My daughter- the oldest is only 6! Closter just has more options for rentals at the moment. I think Wyckoff looks prettier driving around but thats all!

wyckoff is less off the beaten path i think. not sure where whomever will be working, that could play a role.

wyckoff has a shared high school if that matters, but the school is not far at all and totally OK as far as i understand.
