As afr as your town, many have specific cleanup dates, such as twice a year that they allow you to put most anything out. You'd have to check with your town for details. Otherwise there are lots of private yokels that will do that. You might consider recycling or freecycling some of that.
I'm not sure if they sell it in NJ, but Home Depot in GA has something called the "Bagster", for $30.00. Basically, it's a large soft sided dumpster, capable of holding up to 3200 lbs. We filled it, then called our trash haulers who came and picked it up for $100. It cost way less than any other options we found.

Same here- we've got one being picked up on Monday with all the debris from our basement renovation. It's far easier/cheaper than having a huge dumpster sitting in the street. According to their website, they have service in the Newark metro area, so they may be available in the OP's area.
Bear in mind, you can't put paint, oil, toxic chemicals, tires, appliances, electronics, etc., in the bags- but then again, you can't dispose of most of that stuff anywhere anymore, other than at special collection centers.
