Newark is a dump! I'm not sure why people who live in NJ don't see it! You got the working class mixed with the drug addicts and the homeless and the bums all in one area! PATHETIC! Eewewewewew!
I work across from Prudential and @ 10 am, you have some white lowly-addicts sitting on the flower bed area around from wachovia at 10am, snorting with her pusher! IN PLAIN VIEW! I've worked there for 4.5 years...nothing will ever change.

obviously, it is a very poor city. People look tragic, the bums sleep and sit on the sidewalks, like it's a couch in their living room.
Then the same bums picks themselves up, and goes to sit on the bench, where clean people park their asses. Or @ least they look clean. I don't sit on any bench out there! They can keep those bed bugs!
It makes me sick to think Major Corporations are conducting business out of that hell-hole. They must be getting a premium to do business in Newark.
I feel embarrassed when the Lakewood bus comes and picks up the 5pm CROWD, because those people look like they want to get the hell outta there...FAST! They're all huddled on that corner playing with their hands waiting to zoom outta town!

So why don't you quit your job in that "dump" since you are sooo embarassed to be there. I work in Newark too right next to the beautiful Newark Museum, across from the park where they have weekly jazz concerts, and next to the Newark Public Library that appears to stay busy with a flow of people yearning to learn.

Where do u suggest major corporations conduct business? Morristown? Where commuting is hell and is barely accessible by public transit? Like I said if you don't like working in such a dump of an area then quit and let someone who lives there and/or actually wants a job get it.
