Cable Service in NNJ? (Jersey City, Hoboken: moving, beach, verizon FIOS)

Hey,
I'm moving down to Hudson county and am wondering (assuming I have a choice) which cable company is best down there. I've seen a lot of optimumonline email addresses, but I've only ever had comcast and timewarner. Any thoughts?

Also, where is the closest nice beach to Hudson county --- and how far of a drive?

Unfortunately you don't have a choice for cable in most of Hudson. It's either Comcast in Jersey City and the western part of the county, or Cablevision/OptimumOnline for Hoboken and the other waterfront towns. Verizon FIOS may come to Hudson one day, but I won't be holding my breath.

I must be cablevision then, up in North Bergen. And I'll take wat I can get... thanks for your help! I know it's irrelevent, but about beaches... where is the closest good one to a place like North Bergen?
